GISKE returns with their strong new single, "Light Upon the Water"

Named after the island where they were formed, GISKE have recently revealed their new offering. Titled "Light Upon the Water", it's their first track to be released since 2019 - so yes, this is a comeback single!

... a delicate, dreamy blend of organ and guitar tones wrapped in lush harmonies that feels like floating through a sonic sunrise.

The members of the band started out making music back in 1991 (when I was not even walking), with this guise of the band getting quite the following in their native Norway, and since they've been releasing tracks on Spotify they've got a loyal fanbase too.

The new song is delicate to the touch, almost like a butterfly, with dreamy organ sounds on a bed of guitar sounds that feel like they belong on something by Mark Knopfler. The mixture of vocals works so well, complementing one another throughout the song, adding plenty of depth.

Even though this is a slower track as far as pace goes, it'll soon wizz you by as you end up falling in love with the tones it beholds. Be sure to head to their page to check out plenty more tracks like this.
