Back with his second single of the year is In VideColour and "Proximity". With the previous single coming out back in February, there has been some hype surrounding this, and when we first laid our ears on the single edit, we fell in love.
... a lo-fi synth-swept indie-rock gem.

"Proximity" is a compelling indie-rock gem that lends some of its sounds from the lo-fi genre, with some comparisons against the likes of Darwin Deez's debut album. The song is very clean and addictive, with sweeping synths and pacy moments to keep you on your toes.
The track explores the raw edges of mental health struggles and destructive habits with unflinching honesty. It's a raw track which, for me at least, is a great gateway track into In VideColour's sound. This is the definition of a hidden gem, so get on board!
