Right from the off, you'll feel this charming twang from the guitar, and not long after, his Slavic vocals come over. Yes, it's sung in his native Slovak tongue, but this is one of those songs that can transcend language.
As a speaker of the Polish language, I did understand parts of the song, and don't worry, if you don't know either of the languages, you'll still be able to hear his soulful vocals, delicate guitar sounds and atmospheric textures. It's a clear-cut dream-pop song from one of the most underrated cities in the whole of Europe.
The song was recorded between Slovakia (SK) and Prague (CZ) with producer Rohin Brown and mastered by Sarah Register (Big Thief, Protomartyr), so if you're looking to expand your dream-pop palette, then give this a go.
