Korda Korder find beauty in grief with "Goodbye My Friend"

The Brighton-based Korda Korder is back with their new single, "Goodbye My Friend". The new single is just the third to come out since the outfit started releasing music last year, and this one might be the most heartfelt one of the bunch.

... a dreamy, shoegaze-infused meditation on loss and beauty that proves this rising indie act is destined for big stages.

"Goodbye My Friend" is rather sombre, with the song touching on the topics of loss and remembrance. It's somewhat inspired by a moving Sam Fender podcast moment about losing a close friend, with this new single capturing that fragile balance between grief and beauty.

Indeed, the song is very dreamy with elements of shoegaze, so it's clearly got that atmospheric side to it, and when you mix in the lush vocals and sonic guitar tones, it's sure to leave a long-lasting impression on you.

Following praise from BBC Radio 6’s Steve Lamacq and standout performances at SXSWGlastonbury, and The Great Escape, it sounds like Korda Korder are going places!
