Editors return after recent touring success to offer You Don’t Know Love, a haunting and darker track which in my opinion is another ‘safe’ single. There are some strings and orchestral features in the background, but the vocals are as expected from Editors, with nothing particularly powerful arising.
You Don’t Know Love is a radio friendly song and it would appear that many people are offering their thoughts as to comparisons with other bands, you can draw your own conclusions on this, however overall it isn’t a particularly memorable song. It does grow after a number of listens, but I wasn't taken by this release. A little transparent and dull maybe? But it's brilliant live, and thats why it's my tarck of the day.
