SAMSARA. drop their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP"

Coming out of New York is the brilliant and stunning SAMSARA., and the band have recently dropped their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP". The quintet have a sound that can rival any of the big alt-rock bands that are currently dominating the worldwide music scene, and based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol. ... based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol The pacing of the track is great, and even from the get-go there is a somewhat danceable backline that'll no doubt have you tapping your feet. The guitar sounds on "IN TOO DEEP" are so infectious, a blend of post-punk and alt-rock with the perfect amount of fuzz to give it more depth. Vocally strong too, you have to admire this emerging band for the smooth vocal approach to the track and its clean melodies.

Cera Gibson shares her atmospheric new single, "Eclipse"

Cera Gibson late last month released her fourth single of the year, "Eclipse". The new tune is very much continuing on with the hype that she has deservedly got from previous singles and by the sounds of it she's aiming for bigger stages than previous. ... by the sounds of it she's aiming for the big stages! The very dark entrance to the song acts as a major hook for me, with a balance of her angelic and soulful vocals seemingly colliding with a gospel choir. Once the track bursts into the light it's both anthemic and jaw-dropping, Cera's vocals alone for me can carry this song, so when I heard a tone-perfect guitar in the background I was convinced that she is a fire festival headline act. With over a million hits on TikTok and Instagram on her music, it's clear that those numbers are backed up with sheer musical talent (for once) and she could be on the cusp of something amazing. Lido Beach drops their punk-filled new track, "Era One"

Based out of California is Lido Beach with their new single, "Era One". The new track is the second release of the year and the track starts off with a jagged guitar with booming drums. Safe to say from the outset the track is in your face big, and vocally the single is bold too. Rock tones from Weezer to Green Day and everything in between. The very punk-leaning track doesn't hold much back and it's full on as soon as it hits the 30-second mark, and then onwards it's perfect to bang your head to and for a good old-fashioned singalong. I'm getting flavours of Weezer to Green Day and everything in between. The single is well polished with solid production and no doubt is going to be a key track during their live shows for years to come! With anthemic and powerful guitars to the big vocal hooks this track is sure to get you interested, so if you want to dip your toe into what this California-based and is all about go straight in!

Reid Anderson releases the nostalgic new single, "My Dearest Friends"

Liverpool-based Reid Anderson last month released "My Dearest Friends", the single acts as his third single following on from his impressive "We Would Have Noticed The Moon" release. Atmospheric acoustic music with compelling vocals. Considering he is from Liverpool and is acoustically-driven in his music it may be considered lazy by some to compare his sound to that of The Beatles, but the way he has projected his vocals on this it honestly sounds like John Lennon in places. The charming nature of the track will set you at ease within the first few seconds, and with a compelling violin added to the song there is certainly plenty of texture to wrap your ears around. Even though the track is two and a half minutes long it will already have made the impact on you to want to delve into his catalogue on Spotify, so do yourself a favour and listen to this emerging singer-songwriter before everyone else does.

The Winter Sounds unveils the nostalgic new track, "Cottagecore"

Since the release of their previous single, "Big Dreams", The Winter Sounds have been high on my radar to listen to again. Just a few days ago we got the new track from the Czechia-based trio, "Cottagecore". The new cut opens up with a very thick synth line, it sounds very 80s and shortly after some soothing vocals and jangly guitars enter the fold. But it's when the track kicks into gear with the fast-paced drums that the song is at full moon. Very 80's and very heartwarming to hear such nostalgic sounds. It's fantastic to hear a band from a European country that sounds like they're from the Manchester music scene, as it's almost like they're a reincarnation of The Smiths, but with added synth sounds with the latter half sounding more like an anthemic track from The Killers.
