SAMSARA. drop their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP"

Coming out of New York is the brilliant and stunning SAMSARA., and the band have recently dropped their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP". The quintet have a sound that can rival any of the big alt-rock bands that are currently dominating the worldwide music scene, and based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol. ... based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol The pacing of the track is great, and even from the get-go there is a somewhat danceable backline that'll no doubt have you tapping your feet. The guitar sounds on "IN TOO DEEP" are so infectious, a blend of post-punk and alt-rock with the perfect amount of fuzz to give it more depth. Vocally strong too, you have to admire this emerging band for the smooth vocal approach to the track and its clean melodies.

Tidal Water release their cinematic new single, "The Void"

Olso-based Tidal Water burst onto the scene (no pun intended) earlier on this year, and today sees them release their fourth single "The Void". The new cut is a very big and jammy rock track that sounds like it's taken a lot of inspiration from big guitar bands of the 80s and even 70s with some Hendrix-sounding guitar swirls. So much swagger and organic sounds throughout. The amount of swagger in this song can rival any of the best out there as the bassline alone gives me those strutting down-the-street vibes. The addition of a harmonica in the song also gave me some chills, with more Americana/Country flavours sprinkled throughout to give it added depth. Even though the track is five minutes long you'll be very well acquainted by the end, and no doubt will be crooning over the track for another play. Moontwin shares the dreamy new cut, "Storm in a Shell"

The international duo of Moontwin has just earlier today shared the dreamy new cut, "Storm in a Shell". The new song is arguably their most upbeat one of the year, and with two previous singles behind them this year this also goes down as possibly their most expansive one too. "Storm in a Shell" is quite the ride, enjoy every second of it! Kicking things off is a bold synthy sound backed up with a rather simplistic (yet effective) drumbeat, and it's not long after until those dreamy vocals from Maple Bee come flowing over the top like a wave washing over the sand. It's a fantastic track, especially for this time of year as I can see myself getting lost in it on a late evening with a cold drink in hand. The track really comes to life after the 70-second mark, and when it did I had my jaw drop to the floor, this could be the type of track that can define their career it's that big. Cardiff singer-songwriter Those Heavy Souls is back with his incredibly big new tune, "How High’s Too High?". Speaking of the new tune Craig (Those Heavy Souls) mentions - "This song is about addiction and living life in the moment and not knowing when enough is enough." Epic vocal hooks that can rival any of the best Britpop-era rock bands The song boasts some epic vocal hooks that can rival any of the best Britpop-era rock bands, but it's the start of the song that I was hooked on. The big drum sounds were then quickly complemented by some equally huge synth sounds. Even though Those Heavy Souls is a solo project the sound of the track suggests that the songs that Craig is coming up with is something that is going to be filling up arenas all over the UK - much like Gerry Cinnamon. The chorus is one other point in the track you need to focus on, it's a very funky indie-rock-driven affair and will no doubt go a long way in convincing you to head to his Spo

Reid Anderson releases the nostalgic new single, "My Dearest Friends"

Liverpool-based Reid Anderson last month released "My Dearest Friends", the single acts as his third single following on from his impressive "We Would Have Noticed The Moon" release. Atmospheric acoustic music with compelling vocals. Considering he is from Liverpool and is acoustically-driven in his music it may be considered lazy by some to compare his sound to that of The Beatles, but the way he has projected his vocals on this it honestly sounds like John Lennon in places. The charming nature of the track will set you at ease within the first few seconds, and with a compelling violin added to the song there is certainly plenty of texture to wrap your ears around. Even though the track is two and a half minutes long it will already have made the impact on you to want to delve into his catalogue on Spotify, so do yourself a favour and listen to this emerging singer-songwriter before everyone else does.
