Spector are, Fred Macpherson (vocals), Christopher Burman (guitar), Thomas Shickle (bass), Jed Cullen (synth, guitar), Danny Blandy (drums). The first time I caught Spector live it was in Clapham Common at the Get Loaded! Festival. It was rammed with more people watching them play than over at the main-stage due to the rain. Check out their new single 'What You Wanted' out on Luv Luv Luv Records September 19.
Comparisons can be made to quickly and they have been compared to The Vaccines. 'What You Wanted' is already such a radio friendly track that I can easily see this being played all over the radio as soon as the single us upon the world. And what a song they have created here, the vocals are as heartfelt as they can ever get, the guitars are so clean and crisp and the production on this song just seals the deal. Such a great advert for the band.
