Gig Review... The Neighbourhood @ Borderline, London, 14th November 2012

The sweaty Borderline venue was the setting for The Neighbourhood's 2nd ever London show, this was a sold out show that was drawing everyone from the south of England in. Zane Lowe was even amongst the happy giggers with lots of fans going up and chatting to him.

As Seasfire ended their set the crowd got more even excited, with tension building some fans were actually pushing their way to the front of the floor, climbing on the stairs to get a good view and all to get a glimpse of the LA band. They played their way through their entire EP with a couple of new songs thrown in for good measure, one of the new songs is going to be on their début album which is out next year.

The highlights of the set was easily the crowds response to 'Sweater Weather' being played - "All I am is a man, I want the world in my hands" - Jessie (Vocals) could clearly see the crowd lapping everything that they were throwing at them, this was indeed a great night and I'd severely urge you to catch them live before their album is out! The Neighbourhood is a breath of fresh air for everyone in the world of music, something for everyone to love!
