If we had to give the award for the most up-beat track of the year (so far), it has to go to the lads in Haus. The London based six-piece have been known for making summery Indie-Pop with glorious hooks and great vocals. "Yankee" has pushed them further in the right direction, with the up-tempo song getting them recognised as a force within the local scene.
Their tracks have always been free to download - and this one is no exception - so it just proves that you have to be a well known band to get great music out to the masses. This song has dropped just at the right time, the sunshine is beaming down upon us in the UK and this is just begging to be put into your 'summer time' playlists. Being compared to Peace a lot I can see them do really well on the back of this song!
