Denai Moore isn’t a complete stranger anymore as she hit the BBC Introducing Stage at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals, however, there still aren’t enough people who know of her beautiful music.
Living in East London, the 19-year old started performing live in 2012 and released her four-song-EP "Saudade" this March, making Tom Odell and Plan B some of her fans. Her latest EP "The Lake" ist set to be released November 4th. The Jamaica-born singer mixes electronic and folk as if it was the most common combination in the world, but she does it with ease. In her songs there seems not a single instrument or tune to be out of place, nor does any arrangement sound strange. No, we get raw, interesting and cleverly composed soul-folk with electro influences. What else could you ask for?
See her live:
October 13th - Cambridge (supporting Tom Odell)
October 15th - Leeds (also supporting Tom Odell)
October 17th - London (Q Awards)
