Single Review... The Night VI - Sienna

Having released their début EP here in the UK on Parlophone I was really surprised to see their latest single being released on a label that's only had one previous release on it, the IYES début single. Duly Noted is a label that's taking the industry by storm and after getting The Night VI to release their stunning single through them they're certainly making waves towards the big time.

So the single itself, the song seems to be all about a love lost to a girl called Sienna - who would have thought. But don't let this lead you into thinking it's all about bitching and hate, it's rather the gentle and ear friendly Indie-Pop anthem that we've grown to associate with The Night VI. The rather gorgeous vocals from Sophie-Rose just woo you over and as soon as the chorus hits it just gets a whole lot better, add in the timeless guitar tones which seem to be taken straight out of The XX's first album, the atmosphere of the track just gets a whole lot better! The single is nothing short of magnificent, if you fancy seeing them live (like we are), head on down to BIRTHDAYS in Dalston tomorrow (19th March) to see them perform.
