Introducing... Project Hope

Few German newcomer bands manage to excite as much as Munich's Project Hope. Their folky sound combined with the rough, emotional voice of lead singer Alex is the reason the group, which got together in 2013, is currently acquiring a steadily growing fan base in Southern Germany. 3 months ago Project Hope released their first EP. The "Alright - EP"'s five tracks contain lyrics from love to the discovery of America by Columbus and is fuelled by the folky sound from their two guitars and cajon. It's the sort of EP where the listener decides whether it's upbeat or more melancholic.

The atmosphere of their music is quiet and relaxing and although I described their sound as folky you can distinguish reggae influences in the odd track. If you want to hear more of Project Hope's music just visit their Facebook site. We're sure there will be more good music coming in the not-so-distant future.
