We've been massive fans of Pixel Fix for a good 18 months or so now and we've got the on-line première of their new single "Lungs", and it's certainly being released at the right moment. The track has Pixel Fix's unique blend of processed samples, slick guitar tones and the noticeable vocals of Marcus. You might of seen them if you like Coasts as the band have been a big admirer of the Bristol based band for a while now, and if you live anywhere near Oxford then you must have seen them at some point, their live shows are just so tight!
The band have been spending a lot of time recently remixing other artists, but while they've been doing so they've been biding their time and expanding their sound with bigger and bugger choruses, much like the one in "Lungs". The band borderlines between a James Blake and Two Door Cinema Club with the electronic clicks associated with James' tracks and the fast up-tempo guitar and bass rhythms of Two Door's albums.
