Track of the week... As Elephants Are - Crown

Today is a good day, as we are listening to As Elephants Are's brand new single "Crown". Earlier this year they released their long-awaited EP "Hand Prints" and loads of people loved that and got them a lot of acclaim, with the latest offering I can see the band just getting a lot more of attention! Being a band that loves being on the road it certainly looks like that the band has written this track with the enjoyment of the crowd in-mind, especially when it gets towards the end of the song when they all breakdown and it's just vocals upon vocals.


I really just shows how much the band has grown up, with Ben's vocals driving the song forwards it's backed up with some great guitar solos, thumping bass and intricate drumming. They've grown up since their début track "Grown Ups", a highlight of the song for me is the breakdown towards the end where the whole band joins in with just claps and vocals - the future is looking bright for this band!
