A couple of months ago Surfer Blood guitarist and all-round sweet guy Thomas Fekete had major surgery to have a large tumour removed from his abdomen, sadly a few days ago doctors informed him that it had spread to his spine and is making its way into his lungs.
Needless to say, his situation has left him unable to tour and make a living with the band while his wife has left work to help look after him through his treatment. With a team of doctors assembled and confident in alternative therapy for such a rare cancer, the price of help is going to be out of his reach, while insurance would only cover a portion.
