Bedford's The Martime Effect have unveiled their debut release, a AA-side single "Headstrong/Superhuman". The opening track is a throwback to the mid 00's with a blend of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Libertines with some elements of The Cure in equal measure. The song sounds like a hit from the word go and is a great statement from the band. The following track "Superhuman" is more of a relaxed affair and showcases the gentler side of the band.
