OK so here is the countdown of our 'Sounds of 2017' list, and as every year we kick off with our 'Wildcard', this is reserved for the act that hasn't been around long that we feel might do well in the coming year in one aspect or another, whether it be via an art installation, unique techniques when creating music or otherwise, and no one sums that up more than Sam Bartle's new project, LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER.

Rising up from the ashes of his former band ZIBRA, Sam is not one to sit still and the Tottenham based musician has been back in the studio creating some interesting music made from instruments he has made himself. So basically he is singer, songwriter, producer and instrument creator! If you have been on Facebook in the past 4 months you would've seen his 'Synth Bike' video doing the rounds (it's below if you've missed it), and recently he's even done his first gig supporting - fellow 'Sounds of 2017' contender - Barns Courtney at XOYO with his home-made synth.

He is in his own genre right now, and with people and bands trying to find new niche's I think Sam might just got be getting onto something here. Stay tuned to his facebook page, the link's just below.
