I'm fairly certain that this is the first Portugese band I have personally written about, all I knew about the music scene there was NOS Alive Festival, however after listening to Ponyroid's latest track I think I'll be paying a lot more attention.
Now "Goat Cheese" is the track in question, personally speaking I feel that they could've come up with a better name for it, but who am I for shutting down a band for being different. Their track has a wash of distortion in the vocals and the guitars, with some very Strokes-eqsue hooks in there for good measure. Turns out Ponyroid have created a highly addictive track, head on down to listen to it below!
