Charlie Straw shares new single 'Paradise'

Charlie Straw can count the whirlwind of the last few years as something truly remarkable.

The Manchester-based songwriter has come a long way from recording out of a basement in Thailand, his epic storytelling ability has cemented his place as one of the most exciting indie-pop songwriters of the current crop. Support on last years releases came from the likes of Mahogany Sessions, Clash Magazine and New Music Friday. He's also supported the likes of Marika Hackman and James Bay, building a solid foundation of his loyal fanbase.

The new single is the outstanding Broken Paradise - lyrically, the track deals with some heartfelt issues - perfectly juxtaposing a feel-good indie pop production.
“Broken paradise is written for someone I love who isn’t well. It’s me telling them to keep battling through and that I’ll be there to help them whenever they need. I wrote it to encourage and uplift them.”
