With a mere three singles to their name, and around a year of being a band you might expect Newcastle's Amongst Echoes to be still finding their feet and shaping their artistic output. The truth is far from it, performing with an adolescent eagerness to prove themselves, yet with the bravado of seasoned veterans, it's clear they're onto something.
Going Nowhere is the next chapter from their unfolding story, and is an upbeat yet melancholic indie-pop jammer with just the right amount of grit. Tune in to the video below.
“From our perspective, melodically, the track follows a structure that we have never really experimented with before. We are out of our comfort zone sonically, but lyrically we aimed to relate to the masses, in a sense that a good feeling can be had in finding acceptance when cutting ties for the better of both parties”.
