His storytelling writing dives into the intense topics of love, lust, drugs, drinking, loneliness and finding identity. He dares to question the confines of the conservative bubble where he grew up, which bleeds into his music. Hank contrasts his vulnerability with intensity and creating a tension of opposites. While his lyrics may be deep, the music is contagious and his only hope for sharing his stories is that others will find a piece of themselves within his records.
