London's Happy Science's have recently released their epic six minute long track "An Introduction To...". The quartet's latest track has been out since February the 28th and since then has gone on to get them a whole load of praise - and why the heck not.
The track was inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s famous Definition of Happiness interview, and much like the famous director this track has a sense of being a form of art of it's own. The track is laced with fuzz, dominated by hazy vocals and with some gorgeous guitar tones at the beginning luring you into the track there's no wonder I've listened to this six minute epic a good few times on the bounce, it's just so addicting.
The vocals bring me a shed load of nostalgia as it reminds me of noughties Indie-Rock which is a great throwback for me and anyone who grew up in that era, with influences from Sonic Youth, The Velvet Underground and Pixies there is no wonder their music is epic and cinematic. With love from none other than Radio X already it looks like Happy Science are going to be making waves in 2020, and as this is the first single of theirs we are already hungry for more, so why not check it out for yourself below - and don't forget to follow them on the socials.
