Alice Pisanohas recently shared her heartwarming new single "Tears Will Set You Free", which is her first release since her well received single "Take on Me" , which has since got over 100k streams on Spotify.
The Italian born singer-songwriter is currently based in London and has been releasing tracks since 2018 and since then has got well over 3 million plays. With a soulful voice and a stripped back to her latest effort it's no wonder that her fans are coming back more often to check out her pieces of art.
With the track itself it's a lovely slice of atmospheric pop with her soaring vocals setting the scene. Laced throughout is a majestic string section that gives it more volume and really enhances the track, with some electro elements thrown in towards the end this is something that can easily rival the likes of Lana Del Rey's work.
Speaking on the track Alice said - "It’s a song about accepting and embracing the dark times. I feel that crying is often seen as a sign of weakness, but for me letting go to my emotions is very cathartic and the fastest way to move on"
"Tears Will Set You Free" was co-written by none other than Benjamin Francis Leftwich, and produced by Troy Miller (Emeli Sandé, Jamie Cullum), so expect to hear this a lot more in the coming months. If you want to stay up to date with Alice's amazing vocals be sure to follow her on Spotify so you're up to date with all of her up and coming singles. With support from BBC Radio London, BBC Introducing, National Dutch Radio NPO Radio 2 and many more you need to listen to Alice Pisano before the is massive!
