Ryan Nealon returns with new pop anthem "Mistakes"

Ryan Nealon has within the past few days returned with a brand new pop anthem "Mistakes", which is the singer-songwriter's second song to be released in 2020 following on from his 80's tinted electro-pop tune "Ready to Love Again".

The singer-songwriter hails from Los Angeles in California, USA with this new cut being written with Bret Paddock (another LA based songwriter) and track was produced by Zack Djurich who's previously worked with the megastar rapper Kanye West, so with that in mind we have high expectations from Mr. Nealon...

Ryan doesn't fail to deliver with "Mistakes", it sounds like a delicate Ed Sheeran ballad mixed with James Bay style vocals that warm to you right from the off. There is something special about his vocals, there's a sense of vulnerability here, especially when he sings "Projected my feelings / And I know why I did the things I did / Again and again"

I feel there is a pop gem that's hidden away here, especially considering it's been just released - expect the plays to rise and rise. If Ryan keeps on crafting tracks such as this it won't be hidden away for long! With some steel drums in the chorus that gives it some atmosphere, along with the backing vocals too.

Ryan Nealon has achieved over 500k streams on Spotify with no major backing, no PR or label either - so clearly the music has done the talking for him, and with around 10,000 loyal monthly listeners on the platform too giving him. This new cut is going to take this under the radar musician and light him up, so be sure to follow him on the socials and Spotify so you don't miss anything!
