The Dryas share upbeat and thrilling debut track "Boy"

Brighton based The Dryas have shared their upbeat and thrilling new track "Boy", and shock horror, it's fantastic - I guess it's that good old Brighton scene once again giving us another quality new band.
The band are a trio consisting of Hudd Hunter-Smith, Luke Cowie and Connor Tagg and it sounds like The Dryas are starting off with a bang.

The track is entirely self-produced and highlights that these three friends are certainly talented, starting off the track with an electronic stance the track really takes on a form of it's own with strong comparisons drawn against LCD Soundsystem, and especially the intro giving us strong Public Service Broadcasting vibes.

Not many bands these days release their first song with such an anthemic backing, but after the members' old band split they knew they wanted to still create more music and showcase to everyone what they're about.

Speaking about the single the band said - " ... LCD Soundsystem's "All My Friends" was a strong influence on this song, we wanted a track that had a repetitive element to it, as well as recreating that feeling of nostalgia it gives us. We had also been listening to a lot of The Strokes at the time as well."

With "Boy" being The Drya's first ever single we feel like this band IS going to be a massive name in a short space of time, we honestly can't wait for more material - so if you love this track as much as we do, follow them on the socials to keep up to date with them. They will be massive, mark my words.
