Sarpa Salpa drop latest anthem "Stick To What You Know"

Sarpa Salpa have been on a sharp rise since the first few singles, and now the Northampton based quintet have dropped their latest anthem "Stick To What You Know".

Since forming they've had love from BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Radio X, BBC 6 Music and even getting their single - "Forwards Backwards" - the coveted 'Tune of the week' on Jack Saunders Indie Show on BBC Radio 1. With over 150 shows under their belts so far, including one of the first socially distanced shows in the UK post lockdown they're always looking to perform live to their fans!

The track has a quirky start to it before getting dirty and funky with some slick basslines and vocal effects.

As the track evolves there's some shimmering guitar hooks, taken right out of Chic's back catalogue it seems and some driving drum beats. The chorus is as bright as it can get, helping the act get their song stuck into your head for days with some smooth synths warming up the cut even more.

This band has evolved so much from their initial releases, and even expanding members too from four to five. There's much to love from this new track from one of the hardest working bands in the country, and if they keep on generating the organic hype then they'll be the next unsigned band to get a number one album in the UK.
