Cxl Mxck drops second ever single, "Mushroom Treatment"

Cxl Mxck has recently dropped his second-ever single, "Mushroom Treatment", the single that follows on from his breakthrough debut release "I Can't Breathe"

It's a shimmering indie-pop classic in the waiting
Speaking about the song he says - " ... "Mushroom Treatment" talks openly about loneliness and sadness during the pandemic of COVID-19 and opens up the conversation for depression"

There are strong comparisons that can be drawn against RAT BOY and Jamie T with plenty of honest lyrics, soaring vocals in the choruses, and licks of guitars that wouldn't sound out of place in The Wombats' music.

The Cheshire based artist has already got some love from BBC Introducing Merseyside, as well as praise from his local newspapers. A solid debut release has to be backed up with a sequel, and this follow-up is as charming as the first.

Influenced by the likes of YUNGBLUD and Indie-Rock music you can tell he loves a catchy tune as you'll be soon humming back the chorus to yourself. We love addictive indie-pop and this song is one of those, so once you've finished checking this out head to his Spotify to check out his other cut, expect more from this emerging Chershire act soon!
