The Rapports share soaring new single "Dreamer"

Brighton based band The Rapports have recently dropped their soaring new single "Dreamer", which was their second release of 2020. The track follows on from their demo called "Problems" and is their first proper single release since 2017's "Come Home".

The band showcases their influences a lot in their music, with massive nods towards the Brit-Pop genre that was prevalent in the 90's and early 00's.

"Dreamer" is a classic slice of brit-pop culture for the modern age.

The guitar tone from the beginning may be a nod to that of the work U2 was putting out in the late 90's with it soaring throughout the song, much like Bono and Co's do.

The vocals on "Dreamer" are fantastic too, with plenty of melodies accompanying the lead vocalist throughout, giving it lots of atmosphere and oomph.

Having formed back in 2016 the quartet and released a track the same year in the form of "Come Home", the next year they released a 6-track long EP titled "Come Home" and around the same time, this was when they were doing the rounds on the local music scene down on the South Coast of England. Performing at prestigious venues such as Komedia and also performing at the sought after The Great Escape Festival in Brighton.

The Rapports are set to release their debut album "Taking Off" on French label Noa Music, and with this track being one of the first to be released with NOA Music we can hopefully say that it'll be on the album, and when it's fully out it'll be a fine one to listen to. SO head on down and check them out,
