Bursting out of The Netherlands The Awkward have dropped their airy and synth-laden new cut "Would You?". The latest track acts as their fifth single since the quartet started releasing music last year, and by the sounds of it, they're really starting to refine their sound.
They sound like they're influenced by the likes of U2, Coldplay, and some of the best 90's pop bands as "Would You?" starts off with a rather cinematic vibe. As the track develops it builds into a stadium-friendly rock classic, with soaring melodies and tumbling drums.
With big wooshes of electronics bathed with shimmering guitar lines, The Awkward's latest single is atmospheric and hopefully sets the tone for future releases.
