Volleyball unveil wavy new single, "Paradisco"

Volleyball today unveiled their dreamy and wavy new single, "Paradisco", which is their second ever release. It follows on from the triumphant debut cut "Slide" - which made its way into high profile Spotify playlists, one from The Dutch radio network 3voor12 and the other being a Spotify Editorial playlist.

Volleyball perfectly blends psych elements with dreamy haze to create tracks you can unquestionably get lost in.

The band has also had their fair share of radio play in the UK with their debut single finding its way to Huw Stephens at BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, and Amazing Radio.

With a storming debut, the London quartet didn't waste any time in getting a second tune out there for everyone to hear, and "Paradisco" is that song. Right away as it starts you have a guitar draped in fuzz and reverb welcome you in, and with the dreamy vocals over the smooth (almost jazz-like) bassline you're taken away, and that's fine.

The breakdown before the chorus highlights how intricate the band can get their work, warbling guitars, handclaps, symbol tapping, and those wavy guitar tones tease you like a British Summer day being all sunny. "Paradisco" is a track the foursome hold close to their heart as it was the first track the track collectively wrote together, in a forest hut buried away in the English countryside.

With a solid debut now backed up with an equally sonic follow-up, it won't be long before the name Volleyball will be on everyone's lips.
