Australia's EVIE EMBER reveals debut single "Crazy In My Mind"

If you're a regular reader here you know we just love a debut single release, and this one is yet another one of those. Australia's EVIE EMBER has recently revealed her own debut single "Crazy In My Mind".

The single is all sorts of pop with the intro reminding us a bit of London Grammar with the prominent vocals laced over some simplistic instrumentation. There must be something in the water in Australia as I swear every artist that we hear from the country is nothing short of amazing, with EVIE being one of those artists.

The debut effort switches itself up and shapeshifts between subgenres multiple times in the 163 seconds you're listening to it. There's plenty of anthemic hooks throughout the piece with lots of indie-pop elements that will have any indie-pop guitar fan crooning over it.

What EVIE EMBER has done here is create a melting pot of pop elements and has fused them together to create something that gives you a real insight into what her next few tracks might sound like.

Speaking about the song Evie says  - "It's for anyone feeling trapped in their own mind, whether it be from an abusive relationship, struggling with mental health or with illnesses where they feel like they have to put on a brave face to the world. This song is to connect with them and give them a feeling that they are not alone, to have something to pour themselves into if they really listen to what the lyrics have to say"
