Cardiff-based duo Inland Murmur have recently released their second-ever track, "Waterline". The new single was released on Saint David's Day and is a strong follow-up to their well-recived debut effort "Icarus".
The dreamy single starts off with some delicately washed-out guitar tones, before giving way to Hannah's mesmerising vocals, which get even better when Toby's vocals come in to back them up. Their sound straddles the indie-pop vibes of Bombay Bicycle Club and Swim Deep's hazy guitar tones.
What the band has achieved here is a dreamy indie-pop track with elements of surf and plenty of melodies to shake a stick at. Cardiff has another amazing new band to shout about, and with BBC Wales already backing them it'll be no time before you see these two slipping their way into the big feel-good playlists.
