Britton Buchanan (who's just 18 years old might I add) has today released his upbeat new single "Better", which is his fourth tune of 2021 - following on from his most recent single, "Last Time For Everything".
If you think the name is familiar it's that you might've checked him outperforming everyone on The Voice (USA), coming second in the year he performed in, and this North Carolina-born singer sounds like he's set for the big-time.
His vocals are clearly one of the best parts of the track and with the sheer brooding elements, he possesses you to get hooked in from the first word he sings.

It's one of the most upbeat tracks we've heard out of the USA as of late, and with Summer just around the corner, I will personally be playing this a lot more in the next few months.
The music behind those oh-so-sweet vocals is pretty damn slick too, with some 80s elements there plain to see for everyone, with the synths and thick bass showcasing some proper retro flavours. We've also got a smattering of warm guitar tones throughout, and once the breakdown comes towards the end of the track we reach peak Britton Buchanan. Here there are some choir vocals backing him up (with handclaps too), and when you first hear this is just you up even more.
