Birmingham's latest indie-pop sensation, DAME, has returned with their sugary new single "Bite", which is (you guessed it) out today! The single follows on from their 2020 release "Cold Water", and this new cut also acts as a stepping point for the band going forwards.
If you're a fan of Fickle Friends, early Foals, and the more upbeat tunes of Pale Waves then DAME will be right up your alley.
This new single is a bold statement from a band that sounds like they're on the right trajectory.
"Bite" is one of those tracks that gets you hooked by the first chorus, with some sweet vocals warming you up on a bed of smooth guitar lines and crisp drums. The breakdown is pretty damn ace too, sounding like a DaĆ°i Freyr Eurovision entry, it's got so much going for it!
Speaking about the new tune vocalist Shannon Farmer says - " .. "Bite" is all about taking control and getting what you want, setting your standards high and putting yourself first, forgetting your emotions, and embracing the moment... it’s a big tease."
I'd agree with the above statement, it is a big tease and considering they're from Birmingham - home to many indie-pop bands - they're going to be hot ones to watch once England opens up music venues again. This new single is a bold statement from a band that sounds like they're on the right trajectory, so head on down below to check them out.
