The Calgary artist has been taking his time working on his new batch of tunes, with the last single being a 2018 release there is a lot of buzz around what the new cut will sound like.
"Don't Come Back" has some delicious pop sensibilities with the strings and acoustic guitars helping to give the single a rather warm undertone, despite being from a city known to have sub-zero temperatures.

When you find out that one of his influences is Ed Sheeran you can really then see the comparisons, both are very talented lyricists and both know how to craft a delicate and yet gorgeous guitar line.

Speaking about the new single Danny says - " ... "Don't Come Back was really about me pushing myself further musically than I’ve ever gone—away from my comfort zone for sure, which is normally more of the singer-songwriter stuff, but actually closer to the type of music I love to listen to."

With the singer-songwriter being nominated for 'Best Male Artist' at the 2019 International Acoustic Music Awards there are lots to get excited about.
