Brighton-based pop duo Thrillhouse has today shared their new cut "Just At The Right Time", which acts as their third outing of 2021, following on from the well received single "Where The Roads Don't Go" and their equally mesmorising tune "Flawed Design".
"Just At The Right Time" has lots to shout about, we have a delightfully long and slow-burning intro that seamlessly blends into the chorus. The synths on synths help set the tone to the new release, with it having plenty of atmosphere, especially when the vocals come in.
"Just At The Right Time" ticks all of the boxes!
As I previously mentioned, the track slowly but surely picks up, and before you know it you're in the middle of a masterclass of anthemic indie-pop. There are lots of comparisons in this track drawn against the likes of APRE, The Maccabees and Arcade Fire being the strongest in my opinion.
Speaking about the tune the band mentions - "It's a little love letter to anyone that comes along and helps you out in a time of need."
The latter third of the track is a shimmering display of what the duo are capable of, if this doesn't find its way into your heart you must be dead inside, it ticks all of the boxes! If there's anything more to say about this is that it is just so exciting to hear rising bands push themselves, fair play to them, as this is a banger.
