Manchester based rock band Hollows have today shared their energetic new tune "Advice", which follows on from the band's sonic 2020 campaign that saw them release four songs. The biggest song prior to this new tune was 2019's "Blood" with their soaring guitars, but as you will about to find out, "Advice" seemingly blows it out of the water.
Hollows have crafted a proper anthem for 2021
So the track opens up with some classic Brit-pop sounding acoustic guitar laced in reverb, similar to the sounds of DMA's. They've also drawn in some inspiration from The Cure, as you can hear in the chorus with the driving bass and vocal melodies especially too being a key ingredient in this anthem.
Hollows have crafted a proper anthem for 2021, with the UK opening up as of now there's going to be a new breed of rock music, and Hollows wanna be at the forefront of it by the sound of this track.
Since forming back in 2017 the band has played at O2 Academy Liverpool and Manchester Academy as well as festivals such as Sound City in Liverpool and Sheffield's award-winning Tramlines. if you're already excited - like we are - the band has a tour planned for the UK later on this year, so keep your ears and eyes peeled for new tunes and news on their socials!
