Shayla McDaniel returns with "Better Days"

The ever amazing Shayla McDaniel returns today with her brand new single, "Better Days". The new single is being released as a part of Mental Health Awareness Month to remind people of the importance of self-care, particularly getting enough sleep. Speaking about the song Shayla briefly mentions - "It's somewhat of an anti-hustle culture anthem."

"Better Days" really will brighten your day up when you listen to it

The Tennessee local has already released two songs previously this year, but "Better Days" sounds like it's an instant classic, especially with her vocals welcoming you into the song. Some thick bass and ticking guitar lines back her vocals up and makes this song brighten up, even though the lyrics are more speaking about not getting enough sleep.

Commenting on the tune Shayla says - "It was really early in the morning, and I had just turned my computer off and stopped working. I really wanted to play guitar, so I picked it up and started messing around with a chord progression and singing. Before I went to bed, I had the chorus written. Throughout the week, I fleshed out the rest of the song."

From the soothing vocals that we've come to love to the bouncy guitar lines and the driving bursts of energy, "Better Days" really will brighten your day up when you listen to it, it's just that upbeat.
