New York singer-songwriter Parris Mitchell has recently dropped his rather catchy new indie-pop bop, "charger". The tune has plenty going for it, with some soothing synths and vocal hooks opening up the song it's not too long before it quickly evolves.
More layers are laid down for the chorus, helping to create more atmosphere along the way. His vocals sound so ethereal, soaring above all of the instrumentation, kinda reminding me of Brendon Urie's vocals when he performs slower-paced songs.
It's a solid indie-pop anthem with some nods to R&B and electro-pop, it's a mash-up of some genres that go so damn well together, and even though it's a short track it's oh so sweet - you'll be listening to this song on repeat for sure.
So head on down and get lost in Parris Mitchell's new tune!
