London outfit Pylons have released their sizzling single, "The Chase", which is the first single lifted from their eagerly awaited debut EP "Thanks For Coming". With the backing of BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Radio 1, this track sounds like a massive leap for them, as you'll soon find out.
The track does not hang about getting down to the nitty-gritty, as you're welcomed into Pylons' sound within the first second. Angular guitar tones drenched in sizzling reverb and effects give the track a very late 2000s indie-rock vibe, The Strokes, Bloc Party, and Franz Ferdinand, that sort of sound.
It's a really anthemic track with the guitars layered on top of one another helping to make it atmospheric as the big hitters in the scene. All backed up with commanding vocals and a solid backline it sounds like Pylons are aiming for the headline slots already!
