Cyrano drops dreamy new track, "Tundra"

Back in 2013, we heard of this amazing artist called James Vettese, fast forwards to 2021 and we've come full circle by hearing him once more. This time around he's going by the name Cyrano, and my gosh has his sound evolved and aged beautifully.

"Tundra" fits perfectly in the alt-pop, electronic and dream-pop genres. James' vocals have developed into something so damn soothing but keeping that subtle Scottish accent, the electronics are rather sonic and retro laden, and when the chorus hits it takes you and keeps you gripped.

We've got a lot going on, violin-sounding synths, tight and crisp drum patterns, and even some keys. If this sounds a bit familiar to you it might be that a certain Oxford musician helped produce this in Safehouse Studios, a Mr. Kit Monteith - former member of Trophy Wife and now a live member of Foals.

With a #1 on the Hype Machine already under his belt, a tour with Leif Erikson coming and no doubt more love and acclaim too - Cyrano is already heading our 'Sounds of 2022' list based off of this track.
