Forgotten Garden return with captivating single, "Jessica"

Inverness trio Forgotten Garden has returned with their first piece of new music after their well-recieved debut EP. "Jessica" continues along with the trend that the band set out with the "Broken Pieces" EP, with the hush and tender vocals caressing some gorgeous instrumentation.

The new cut is more upbeat versus their previous work, but by no means it'll be considered a huge departure from their sound. Inês' voice is captivating as ever and the warbling synths in the background setting the pace of the track. It's a very melodic track with nods to The Smiths and even The Cure dotted around, but one thing is for sure, you'll be returning to this track for the angelic vocals.

Speaking about the song the band mentions -"It is a meditation on one woman's search for inner peace after suffering domestic trauma."

The single is backed up by an alternative version of their biggest tune to date, "Broken Pieces", which only offers the listener more music to wrap their ears around.
