Bursting out of Nashville in the USA is The Thing With Feathers and their beautiful new track "Static". One thing is noticeable right from the start of the track, the high tone in the guitars gives the listener a sense of summer vibes, with the vocals adding some swagger you expect to see from some of the big rock acts - proving that they're certainly aiming for the big time.
The chorus is out and out anthemic with some vocal hooks I can see thousands of people chanting it right back to them. It's bands and tracks like this that we just love, until a few days ago we didn't know of them, and now all we want to do is listen to their upbeat indie-rock vibes.
The single is poised to be the first single off of their upcoming debut EP, "Sundays In The South" - and yes we will be certainly giving it a spin once it is out.
