Happy Science reveal new single, "The Last Goodbye"

North London outfit Happy Science just this Friday went and released their angsty new single, "The Last Goodbye". The single follows on from their breakout debut single "Future Vertigo", which has already turned heads since it dropped, with Radio X and Amazing Radio DJs already praising the quartet.

Sitting in well under three minutes is the ska-infused punk-rock track, and right from the get-go, their sound is right in front of you, no holding back. High and angular guitar tones take the listener back to the mid/late 2000s to the highs of Post-Punk Revival music, and the vocals are downright honest and direct.

There's a lot of emotion from the vocalist on this new cut, and with the edgy guitar and basslines backing them up, there's a whiff of something exciting coming from this foursome. The last 30 seconds or so of the track might just be an easter egg for where the next tune is going, and if they keep the aforementioned guitar hooks in their future releases you will almost certainly be hearing about them in more outlets (and of course, on the festival stages).
