Vancouver's Spence Paull at the tail end of 2021 released their fourth track of the year, their quite synthy single "When I'm Lonely". Indeed the band has only been releasing music since the start of 2021, but by the sound of it you'd be forgiven thinking they've been doing it for ages.
"When I'm Lonely" has some real attitude behind it, with what sounds like a brass section playing perfectly off her vocals. The bass gives the song a real groove which is prominent throughout and gives the listener something to get down and dirty to.
With a big year behind her already it looks like 2022 will be shaping up to be a solid year for one of Vancouver's rising singer-songwriters.
