The ever amazing Ocean Flaws return with their fantastic new single "Karmageddon". The single kicks off their 2022 campaign with a bang following their iTunes hit "Hologram" and sees the band riding high on the hype wave they've created for themselves in the past 12 months.
The Basildon quartet has done it once again with their sub-three-minute indie-rock anthem. The track literally kicks off as soon as you press play and bam, you can instantly hear how they've evolved since their inception.
The sound is grand much like White Lies' first album and is filled with soaring guitar moments that reminds me, especially of peak 2010's UK Indie-Rock. The vocals particularly are a highlight of "Karmageddon" being perfectly hazy and dreamy, especially in the chorus it helps bring the track to light even more so.
There's a reason why this Essex based band is on the rise and why BBC Introducing, Radio X and SiriusXM have given them a spin. Their infectious music is one of many reasons why we on the site and many others come back to Ocean Flaws, they're THE band on the rise and expect more exciting tunes to drop this year, they've got something cooking!
