Split The Dealer has dropped an absolute banger with their electrifying new single, "Hard To Take". Sam Brett (aka Split the Dealer) took 2021 by the horns and surpassed a quarter of a million streams on Spotify, and in the space of a year, he's gone from an unheard singer-songwriter to a hype-worthy artist.
"Hard To Take" really doesn't hold back from the moment you smash that play button as it's a rip-roaring intro filled with hooks left right and centre. The track literally stops you in your tracks and as soon as you think it's that throughout the instruments basically come to a stop and his commanding vocals are right before you.
Bursting back into the chorus the rampant drumming and guitar tones are prominent again and almost cements itself as an anthem for 2022.
Speaking about the new single Sam says- "I'm so hyped to drop this track as I wrote it at the start of the first lockdown, but wanted to make sure it was the right time to put it out, and make sure it sounded the way I wanted to before dropping it" - and we're pleased he did wait, we all need thrilling tracks like this in the gloomy months, gives us something to look forwards to when the festivals are back on - as we just wanna create a pit to this for sure!
