Modern Guilt have returned with their big new single, "Joy Control". The single continues on from the hype of their 2021 EP "You're Welcome" and showcases that the band is carrying that hype on into 2022. The band are based out of London and sound like they're going to be one of the next bands to break it out of the capital.
Modern Guilt has made a track with lots of swagger and plenty of hooks to bring in new fans from the get-go.
There is a lot of swagger in this song, and right from the very start, there's a guitar driving forwards backed up with festival-ready drum fills. This is one of those songs that will happily sit in the centre of a setlist and easily be a crowd-pleaser, especially with the chorus having dance-ready rhythms.
The outfit has had praise given to them by DJ's from Radio X, BBC Radio and Amazing Radio - with even none other than Bobby Gillespie praising them too!
Modern Guilt has made a track with lots of swagger and plenty of hooks to bring in new fans from the get-go. Their sound reminds me of The Kooks mixed with the Manchester vibes of Primal Scream, so if you're a fan of great music then you'll love what this band has to offer
