Bursting right out of San Francisco we have gloomy june and they have recently dropped their sun-kissed new single, "Always Gonna Let You Down".
The indie-pop track kicks off with some gorgeous vocals and incredibly vibrant guitar lines, which are reminiscent of Fickle Friends and the early work of Foals. Much like Foals the Californian quartet have a sound that hooks you and keeps you listening all the way through.
The sounds coming off of the guitars kept me interested as it gives me huge nostalgic vibes from my teen years listening to British Indie-Pop in the mid 00's. gloomy june are far from their name suggests, if anything they're one of the biggest bands to have emerged from the West Coast of the USA since The Young Escape. You need to listen to them before they're huge!
